Description : REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS ISSUED FOR SATELLITE INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDERSInfrastructure Ontario (IO), on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure (MOI), has launched a competitive process, which is intended to select a qualified market proponent to deliver satellite internet service to the province. This will support improved access to high-speed internet via satellite service to unserved and underserved homes and businesses across Ontario.As a first step in this competitive process, IO has released a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to identify qualified Satellite Internet Service Providers (Satellite ISPs) based on their relevant capacity and deployment experience to deliver high-speed internet service through satellite.
