The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region-s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Prequalfications. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Regional Municipality of York (the “Region”) intends to procure the deliverables described in Section A of the RFPQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”). The Deliverables include, as a component:The coordination of own forces and required subcontractors to complete all temporary and permanent works required for the Highway 7 Trunk Watermain Project as further described in Section A of the RFPQ Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Open Cut General Contractor Deliverables”)This Request for Prequalification (“RFPQ”) is an invitation by the Region to prospective respondents to qualify for eligibility to:Provide the Deliverables in the role of the general contractor; and/orProvide the Microtunnel Subcontractor Deliverables in the role of a subcontractor to the general contractor. MANDATORY REQUIREMENT: CERTIFICATE OF RECOGNITION (COR™): Any responses received from respondents who are not Certificate of Recognition (COR™) certified, who have not obtained COR™ equivalency or who have not submitted a valid Letter of Reciprocity shall be rejected from further consideration.
