Description:
The Region will ONLY accept ELECTRONIC BID SUBMISSIONS submitted through the Region-s Bids and Tenders website for this Request for Proposal. HARD COPY BID SUBMISSIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Bids must be submitted and received by the Region no later than 1:00:00 p.m., Eastern Standard Time.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The Scope of Work for the Schomberg WRRF upgrades cover many engineering disciplines, including civil, architectural, structural, process mechanical, building mechanical, electrical, Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), and instrumentation. The main objectives of this project are to complete short term rehabilitation of the facility according to a condition assessment report, addressal of immediate operational issues, and to upgrade the facility-s Programmable Automation Controller (PAC), SCADA and instrumentation as per the SCADA Master Plan upgrade requirements.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT:
OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (OHSMS) CERTIFICATION PROGRAM: Any bids received from respondents who do not meet the OHSMS certification requirements, as stated in the RFPQ Particulars (Appendix A), shall be rejected from further consideration.
