Description:
Detailed_Description : Private sector construction material testing laboratories involved in MTO Contracts participate in MTO's Hot Mix Asphalt Correlation Program. MTO's Bituminous Section arranges a similar RFT/RFB to engage one company to prepare and deliver hot mix asphalt samples to those testing laboratories working in MTO Contracts in order them to participate in the correlation program. We have prepared this RFT/RFB to engage a company to carry out the work for 3 years (2025, 2026 and 2027).
Scope of Work : The program comprised of 4 rounds of testing taking place during the construction season with the participants being the Quality Assurance and Referee Laboratories on MTO contracts. In 2025, 2026 and 2027, there will be total 12 rounds under this contract. The number of participating labs is expected to be close to 25, but will vary from one testing round to another, so the actual updated number and list of participants is provided to the Supplier prior to each sampling date by MTO. The selected vendor will be responsible for preparation and distribution of samples in each round as per this contract.
