Description:
Detailed_Description : This pre-release notice is to provide a notice of procurement in advance of the Request for Bids ("RFB") for the provision of DNA Quantification Consumables for the Centre of Forensic Sciences (“CFS”). The RFB is expected to be posted in early 2025. This pre-release notice does not constitute a binding commitment on the part of the Ministry to issue a Request for Bids (“RFB”). The statements, representations and dates contained in this pre-release notice are not binding on the Ministry. The content of any RFB may vary from the description of services and deliverables provided in this pre-release notice.
Scope of Work : The Ministry of the Solicitor General requires DNA quantification consumables which contain chemicals to determine whether sufficient quantities of DNA is present in a sample to proceed to the next stages of DNA analysis. The DNA quantification consumables are to be provided for up to 10 years (initial term of five years with five optional one-year extensions) to CFS locations in Toronto and Sault Ste. Marie. The DNA quantification consumables are expected to be provided in Ontario starting in 2025.The Solicitation timetable is tentative only and may be changed by the Ministry in its sole discretion at any time prior to the Proposal/Tender Submission Deadline.Any additional information is to be provided in English only.
