Description:
TransGas Limited (TransGas) is Saskatchewan-s natural gas transmission company and owns approximately 14,500 km of high-pressure natural gas steel transmission pipelines. In order to meet our future demands and to reduce the risk of not having a qualified pipeline contractor available, Purchasing is pursuing a Vendor of Record (VOR) for Transmission Pipeline Construction Services. TransGas will be issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) to secure a contractor to be the sole Vendor of Record for our upcoming pipeline construction projects. We expect this will be a multiyear contract. This long-term relationship between TransGas and the Vendor of Record will foster early collaboration during project planning, trust, and communication, which can lead to improved project outcomes and the ability to address unexpected challenges more effectively. The following is a list of our potential projects for the next two years. This pre-qualification and any resulting Request for Proposal is expected to pertain to and enable SaskEnergy/TransGas to conduct its mandated business and ability to deliver for resale, natural gas services to SaskEnergy customers.
