  PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS FOR MINOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
  The City of Boynton Beach is seeking qualification packages to establish a pool of pre-qualified contractors that can quickly compete for City construction projects as they arise. For the purposes of this RFQ, Minor Construction projects are defined as UNDER $200,000 (two hundred thousand dollars). Entry into this Pre-Qualification pool is an acknowledgment that the pool members have satisfied the pre-qualification criteria.
  It is the intent of the City to select a minimum of FOUR (4) primary firms and three (3) alternate firms for entry into the Pre-Qualification pool. Each selected Firm shall enter into a continuing contract with the City. If or when any of the primary firms are removed from the pool the next alternate will be moved to the primary pool, in the order of the committee's scoring. The qualification will be for general contractors to participate in the procurement and construction to furnish all materials, labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, fees, expertise, and services on an as-needed basis for minor construction projects. Minor construction projects will be initiated by the City upon issuance of a solicitation, or task order, and shall be advertised to all pre-qualified contractors. If a contractor in the primary Pre-Qualification pool fails to respond to more than three (3) consecutive requests for proposals by the City, whether by offer or response of no bid, the firm shall be removed from the program and all subsequent bidding opportunities under this contract and the next alternate in order of scored ranking will be moved into the primary pool.
