Description:
The City-s Engineering Department invites submissions for the pre-qualification of contractors to be registered on its pre-qualified list for contractor services for Engineering maintenance works as outlined in Table 1 below and further throughout this RFQ, for a three (3) year period. The City reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to re-open the pre-qualification process at any time during the term to allow new contractors to provide a submission, or for existing Contractors to apply for other areas of specialization not previously pre-qualified for, or to open new areas of specialization not listed in the RFQ at time of posting.
City projects requiring maintenance typically range from $50,000 to over $500,000 in value. The City uses the Platinum Edition (Volume II) of the MMCD contract documents and requires Contractors performing construction service to use this standard. The City may also use lump sum, CCDC2 and City-s short form contract and other forms of alternative project deliveries as needed.
