Project Description : Notice is hereby given by The City of Calgary (“The City”) of its intent to enter into contract with ANDRITZ Separation Technologies Inc. for Pre-Purchase of 4th Centrifuge as a standby unit for BonnyBrook Waste Water Treatment Plant (BBWWTP). It is the intent of The City to award this contract for the following reason(s):• New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWTPA) exemption (g): “where it can be demonstrated that only one supplier is able to meet the requirements of a procurement.”• Andritz supplied the three centrifuges currently in place in the dewatering building and was successful in being assigned the supply of the centrifuges that will be employed in the thermal hydrolysis process (THP) building incorporated into the Plant D Expansion of the Bonnybrook WWTP. The 4th centrifuge is a standby unit for the existing three Andritz-s centrifuges.Based on the preliminary design evaluation and agreed with Water Services, Andritz-s centrifuge with the same model as existing centrifuges is recommended.
