    Detailed_Description : PRE-NOTICE: The estimated RFB posting time will be late September 2025.Request for Bids (RFB) to complete collar-targeted Boreal Caribou group demographic classification aerial surveys using one or more rotary-wing aircraft for approximately 100 collared caribou across the Berens, Churchill, Kinloch and Sydney Ranges in a consecutive period between early February and mid-March in 2026 and 2027 to allow the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) to collect information on caribou demographics for the purpose of evaluating a range of parameters for each Range.
    Scope of Work : PRE-NOTICE: The estimated RFB posting time will be late September 2025.Complete collar-targeted Boreal Caribou group demographic classification aerial surveys using one or more rotary-wing aircraft for approximately 100 collared caribou across the Berens, Churchill, Kinloch and Sydney Ranges in a consecutive period between early February and mid-March in 2026 and 2027.The objective of the Project is to target collared adult female Boreal Caribou to collect caribou group demographic information to allow the Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) to estimate several population parameters for the Range.The purpose is to support implementation of the Boreal Caribou Monitoring Program, which is being led by the MECP, a commitment included in the Conservation Agreement for Boreal Caribou entered into by Ontario and Canada in April 2022.
