BCTS Campbell River is advertising pre-tender information for road construction planned for the summer of 2021. The road construction is located near the Tsitika FSR on road Tlatlos South (TS) 28. Location maps, DRAFT road construction maps are included.
The purpose of the pre-tender advertisement is to provide contractors with the opportunity to view the work site and walk the proposed road before the snow prevents access by road. BCTS intends to tender this work on BC Bid in the spring of 2021 but is subject to budget approval, completion of road designs, permits and referrals.
Field viewing is not mandatory, but contractors are highly encouraged to view the work site before October 31. This will likely be the only chance to visit the site prior to official tender because of the large snow loads in the area. BCTS will not plow the road for tender viewing in the spring of 2021.
