Description : AMENDMENT TO CLOSING TIME: Please disregard the Ariba Discovery posting response deadline closing time and CanadaBuys posting closing time. All required supporting documentation and bid submission must be submitted by December 1, 2022 at 14:00 EST. All bids submitted after 14:00 EST will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. The objective of this Invitation to Qualify (ITQ) is to create a list of Qualified Respondents (QR) which Canada intends to use to establish solicitations for contracts, standing offers and/or supply arrangements. The CBSA has a requirement to procure Mobile Imaging (MI) systems for the safe, radiographic inspection of vehicles and large conveyances. This requirement is for high-energy x-ray systems mounted on vehicles compliant with ONTARIO REGULATION 413/05 (FOR SAFE, PRODUCTIVE AND INFRASTRUCTURE-FRIENDLY VEHICLES) and is subdivided into two streams: Stream 1 - Medium-Scale MI Systems: 200+ mm of steel penetration, vehicle mass approximately 14,000 kg. Stream 2 - Large Scale MI Systems: 300+ mm of steel penetration, vehicle mass approximately 26,000 kg.
