Description:
This Request for Proposal (the “RFP”) is an invitation by The City of Thorold-s to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Portland Street Watermain Detail Design, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix B) (the “Deliverables”).
The city is inviting proposals from qualified engineering consultants (Consultant) to submit proposal for the Portland Street Watermain Detail Design Between Ormond Street and Chapel Street South in the City of Thorold. Currently, Portland Street consists of a 150mm diameter cast iron watermain between Ormond Street and Welland Street, and no existing watermain between Welland Street and Chapel Street South. The city intends to install a new 150mm diameter PVC watermain from Ormond Street and Chapel Street South. The new watermain will be connected to the existing watermains at Ormond Street and Chapel Street South. By installing the new watermain, the city-s aim is to provide new water infrastructure (a replacement PVC watermain) along the Portland Street to service the surrounding areas and to provide an uninterrupted water supply to Thorold residents
