Tender are invited for Portable Greenhouse Gas Analyzers
Project Description : The department will use the portable analyzers to measure greenhouse gas fluxes from soils and aquatic surfaces using chamber techniques. Measurements, especially soil greenhouse gas fluxes, will be done throughout the year- including winter measurements under cold temperatures.A critical component for the research being conducted is for the analyzers to make soil flux measurements during winter conditions down to -20°C. This specific portable analyzer from Li-Cor has an operating temperature range of -25°C to +45°C that no other portable greenhouse gas analyzer is capable of providing.Li-Cor is the sole manufacturer and distributor of the LI-7810 CH4/CO2/H2O trace gas analyzer.
