Description : The Town of Port McNeil invites tenders for the Port McNeill Swimming Pool Mechanical Upgrades project which includes the following generalized scope of work: Work under this Contract includes, but is not limited to all supervision, construction, equipment, labour, material, permits, and related items for the Port McNeill Pool Mechanical Upgrade including the removal of existing diesel boiler and associated piping and wiring, removal of existing pool filter and chemical treatment systems and all associated piping and wiring, and removal of existing domestic hot water tanks and all associated piping and wiring as indicated. New work includes for the supply and installation of new pool filtration and chemical treatment systems, new high-efficiency condensing propane boiler for pool and building heating, new condenser water loop and heat exchanger to pre-heat pool make-up water with future allowances for a water to water heat pump as well as new propane fired domestic hot water tank. An optional site meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 29th, 2020 at 11:00 am at the Pool. Although this meeting is optional, anyone who does not attend may not make any claim against the Town for not receiving information provided at the meeting.
