Description:
The Canadian Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement to establish a domestic manufacturing capability for Point Detonating Delay Artillery Fuzes (PDD Artillery Fuzes) and for Multi-Role Field Artillery Fuzes (MR Artillery Fuzes) including an initial buy of quantity 60,000 PDD Artillery Fuzes and 14,000 MR Artillery Fuzes.For this purpose, Canada mandated, under the auspices of the Munitions Supply Program, General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems — Canada Inc., Repentigny, (GD-OTS-C) as the Canadian Strategic Source for ammunition to Canada to compete to select existing non-developmental qualified PDD and MR Artillery Fuze designs, establish domestic sources of supply for both Artillery Fuze natures and deliver initial supplies.Suppliers interested in validating GD-OTS-C-s mandate from Canada are invited to consult Canada-s notification on CanadaBuys which will be published in the next few days.
