Description:
This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba ("Manitoba"), as represented by the Department of Public Service Delivery, Capital Project Planning and Delivery ("CPPD") on behalf of the owner of the project, Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation ("Owner") to prospective playground contractors to submit proposals for supply and installation of playground equipment as further described in Schedule A ("Scope of Work and Specifications").The work is being done on two (2) existing playground areas adjacent to two (2) single-family townhouse complexes at 503-539 and 559-595 Princeton Drive, Thompson, Manitoba.Preferences:In consideration of Manitoba's procurement policies and applicable trade agreements, this Solicitation is limited to Canadian suppliers who have submitted compliant submissions meeting all essential requirements of the solicitation. If no compliant submissions are received from Canadian suppliers, Manitoba may re-issue this tender at its sole discretion. Submissions which propose the use of subcontractors based in the United States will be automatically disqualified.Proponents are to bid using the approved product list and/or specifications (which may include U.S. Products), however, following contract award, the successful Proponent will be required to work with Government and associated Consultants to substitute some or all U.S. Products (where practical) with those made in Canada or outside of the United States.
