Description:
The 2026 Boundary Spring Planting Program consists of ~1,294,923 seedlings. There are 87 planting units for the Spring Program across 73 cutblocks, 36 As-is or Regular type planting units (696,600 seedlings), 34 Fill Planting units (352,663 seedlings), 11 Mechanically Site Prepped planting units (204,400 seedlings), 3 Fill Plant with Fertilizer units (7,800 seedlings) and 3 helicopter fill planting units (33,460 seedlings). Spring planting is expected to start mid-April and must be finished by June 21, 2026. As access conditions to/within each block are variable, it is highly recommended that all blocks are viewed prior to bidding. This solicitation will not use the BCTS Planting Contracting Rating System to evaluate tenders. Deadline for receiving questions is 12:00 pm on November 4, 2025. If questions are received, a Question & Answer document will be posted to BC Bid by November 5, 2025.
