Description:
Scope of Work: SaskEnergy is seeking a contract to fabricate and supply two sizes of Piping Header Assembly Modular Skids (PHA). The PHA design has two optional sizes which are NPS12 and NPS16, which can be selected depending on site horsepower and compressor size requirements. Assembled weight of each modular skid range from 23,000 - 59,000 KG-s. Dimensions are 56- long x 20- wide x 13.7- high for the NPS 16 PHA-s and 50- long x 16.7- wide x 10.3- high for the NPS 12 PHA-s. The contractor will be responsible for material procurement as per approved manufacturers lists, structural steel fabrication, piping fabrication, quality control / testing, logistics and storage (note: a comprehensive list of requirements will be included in the upcoming RFP). Design will be as per ASME B31.3, CSA W47.1, CSA C22.1 and CSA C22.2. SaskEnergy operates numerous compressor stations where multiple compressor units work in parallel to move gas throughout the province. The Piping Header Assembly (PHA) takes gas from the pipeline and distributes it into the suction side of the compressors, then the compressor gathers the higher-pressure gas from the discharge side and sends it down stream to the pipeline. Only contractors that meet the following mandatory requirement will be invited to participate in the upcoming RFP: The prime contractor must be the pressure piping fabricator and must hold a valid TSASK license.
