Description:
Supply and delivery of materials and/or equipment (collectively the “Materials”) as described in Section 01110 - Summary of Work of the draft materials supply contract attached to this RFP as Schedule B (the “Draft Materials Supply Contract”), including:
The supply and delivery of pre-fabricated bridge for the construction of the Pine Ridge Bridge in Kanaka Creek Regional Park in the City of Maple Ridge, British Columbia. The Contract includes:
.1 Design, fabrication, and delivery of all superstructure components including:
•Steel or aluminum truss bridge with diaphragms/cross framing,•Deck panels, metal or FRP,•Pedestrian railings,•Bearing and expansion joints.
.2 The bridge components shall be pre-assembled as much as practical prior delivery to site to minimize treatment on site and while meeting the following limits:
•Lifting points and splice locations to accommodate helicopter installation inmaximum 7000 lbs lifts,•Decking and guardrails may be installed after the bridge is erected to reducelifting weights.
.3 All necessary instructions for splicing, connections, installation, erection, and treatment on site as required by the General Contractor.
Delivery point of the pre-fabricated bridge components and parts to Metro Vancouver site at 11772 252 St, Maple Ridge, BC. Access to the site is from established municipal road.
