The Freeze dryer unit must be capable of bulk freeze drying of the aqueous samples (in containers up to total volume of 5.0-5.5 liters) under controlled programed conditions over prolonged operation periods. The freeze-drying process is the vital element in research projects of the GRL Department. Removing water from grain extracts and other liquid samples leaves the chemical structure and composition intact and available for analytical investigation and safe storage over the course of research project. ORGANIZATIONAL ENVIRONMENT:Due to the current COVID situation, access to building or travel may delay completion of installation and training.
