Summary Details:
WorkSafeBC is an independent statutory agency that serves nearly 2.3 million workers and about 200,000 employers throughout British Columbia. The Workers Compensation Act ("Act") empowers WorkSafeBC to enforce occupational health and safety standards, provide legislated compensation and rehabilitation benefits to workers that are injured in the course of employment, and collect funds from businesses to operate the workers' compensation system.
WorkSafeBC would like to identify physiotherapy Clinics* interested in providing the following:
1. Physiotherapy Services only;
2. Physiotherapy Services + Early Access to Physiotherapy Program (EAPP); or
3. EAPP (adding EAPP to an existing Physiotherapy Services Agreement).
* Businesses that deliver physiotherapy services using employees and/or subcontractors at a facility that is owned or operated by the business.
IMPORTANT: WorkSafeBC will not be issuing an RFP process for individual physical therapists who work for and/or contract to Clinics. WorkSafeBC allows Clinics to hire and/or subcontract with any qualified individual physical therapist - individual physical therapists will not require a contract with WorkSafeBC. Individual physical therapists should not respond to this RFP unless they own or operate a facility that provides physiotherapy services.
