- he Alberta Energy Regulator (AER) aims to establish prequalified vendors to secure firm, non-curtailable supply of electricity and natural gas energy to be delivered to the AER facilities located in the Apex Utilities and Atco Gas South delivery zone. The primary goal of this PRQ is to secure, for the best price possible, an electricity and natural gas supply arrangement that is both administratively simple and of minimal risk. Additionally, the AER wishes to obtain firm and competitively priced electricity and natural gas supplies from responders who are registered with the Alberta Department of Resource Development. Respondents are requested to provide retail supply services for electricity and/or natural gas, for terms of 1 - 5 years beginning April 1, 2025. This service must meet the requirements detailed in this PRQ.
