Issued: January 22, 2026 File # PHSA 18560 NOI Title: Medtronic's Symplicity SpyralTM Renal Denervation (RDN) System Provincial Health Services Authority Notice is hereby given that Vancouver Coastal Health Authority (the “Health Authority”), through their collective agent Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”), intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide Symplicity SpyralTM Renal Denervation (RDN) System and Symplicity Spyral™ multi-electrode RDN catheter for Vancouver General Hospital at an estimated value of $ 288,000.00 CAD (excluding taxes) for a term of two (2) years with one (1) option for extension of two (2) years. This Notice may be extended to other facilities and Health Authorities in British Columbia at the same pricing structure to acquire the technology within the term of the agreement. Medtronic Canada ULC 99 Hereford Street, Brampton, ON L6Y0R3, Canada. In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the Health Authorities has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason: the goods can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists due to an absence of competition for technical reasons.
