Summary Details Notice of Intent to Direct Award Issued: July 18, 2025 File # PHSA 17271 NOI Title: Pull-Up Briefs and Pad Liners Provincial Health Services Authority Notice is hereby given that Provincial Health Services Authority ("PHSA") on its own behalf and as an agent for, Fraser Health authority ("FHA"), Interior Health Authority ("IHA"), Northern Health Authority ("NHA"), Vancouver Coastal Health Authority ("VCHA"), and Vancouver Island Health Authority ("VIHA") intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide Pull-Up Briefs and Pad Liners for a term of six months at an estimated value of $1.2M until PHSA can finalize a competitive process. Abena North America Inc. Egelunnd 35, 6200 Aabenraa, Denmark In accordance with applicable trade agreements PHSA, as agent for the FHA, IHA, NHA, VCHA, and VIHA has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason: the goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason: to ensure compatibility with existing goods, or to maintain specialized goods that must be maintained by the manufacturer of those goods or its representative.
