Notice is hereby given that Provincial Health Services Authority (“PHSA”) on it-s own behalf intends to directly award a Contract to the following supplier to provide MIM Software Service for BC Cancer for an approximate three (3) years term at an estimated value of $326,531.52 CAD.

In accordance with applicable trade agreements, PHSA, as agent for the Health Authority has chosen not to proceed with a competitive process for the following reason:the goods or services can be supplied only by the selected supplier and no alternative or substitute exists for the following reason: To ensure compatibility with existing goods, or to maintain specialized goods that must be maintained by the manufacturer of those goods or its representative. Rationale
The specialized Radiation Therapy software suites—Symphony LDR, Symphony DX, and Maestro—are proprietary to MIM Software Inc. and currently deployed across various BC Cancer facilities. While BC Cancer possesses several Maestro and Symphony licenses, the Source Code remains under the ownership of MIM Software Inc. Maintenance and support for these licenses can only be provided by MIM Software Inc.
