The Cardiohelp system is the only system that is certified by Health Canada, designed for ExtraCorporeal Life Support transport by managing the drive, control, monitor, and protocol of the extracorporeal circulation.
Royal Columbian Hospital is the only site providing ExtraCorporeal Membrane Oxygenation support to patients across Fraser Health Authority. Due to longer recovery periods experienced stemming from COVID related diagnosis, more equipment is required.
