The City of Cranbrook (the City) is issuing this advance procurement notice indicating to the contractor community that the City intends to issue an open competitive procurement process for engaging qualified and experienced Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) General Contractors through an RFP process for Water System Upgrades. The City intends to post a competitive solicitation document on or about March 27, 2025. The proposed Water Systems Upgrades will include the construction of the following: UV and onsite sodium hypochlorite generation disinfection facility at the Phillips Reservoir. Pressure reducing valve station.Decommissioning and removal of existing treatment building.While the City is not required to provide this Advance Procurement Notice, the City believes this information will enhance transparency, foster full and open competition, and provide contractors with an opportunity to begin preparing proposals to meet the specified requirements.
