Project Description : This Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is an invitation for prospective Proponents to submit Proposals to provide Pharmacy Services for 3 continuing care facilities in the Edmonton Zone operated by Covenant Health.Edmonton General Continuing Care centre operates 495 beds including 30 post-acute beds, 26 palliative care beds, 35 complex care beds and 20 beds for residents requiring hemodialysis.St. Joseph-s Auxiliary Hospital operates 202 continuing care beds including 14 palliative care beds.Youville Home operates 232 continuing care beds.Services will include drug distribution, pharmaceutical care, drug information / education, administrative functions and other duties as requested. The purchasing, inventory management and storage, repackaging and dispensing of medications in multi-dose pouches for each resident will occur at the Proponent's pharmacy. The Pharmacy provider is responsible for delivery of all medications and supplies to the facilities. On-site clinical pharmacy services are also required.
