Tender are invited for Petrographic Thin Section Preparation
Project Description : The Alberta Geological Survey, a branch of the Alberta Energy Regulator, routinely conducts geological investigations that make use of petrographic thin sections. Thin sections are primarily of siliciclastic and carbonate lithologies for transmitted-light microscopy but polished thin sections for reflective light examination may periodically be required. Evaporite mineralogies/lithologies are also periodically examined. A vendor that can provide expert-level thin section preparation for the Alberta Geological Survey/Alberta Energy Regulator is required.
