Description:
This Request for Offers (the “RFO”) is issued by the Corporation of the County of Peterborough (the “County”) for the provision of requesting offers for the right to cut all standing timber that has been identified for removal on property owned by the Corporation of the County of Peterborough.
The Peterborough County Forest - Cavan Block Timber Sale harvesting shall be completed, including final restoration and demobilization from site, within the window of July 15, 2026 to December 1, 2026 and July 15, 2027 to December 1, 2027 in order to be in compliance with the Migratory Birds Convention Act, 1994 and to ensure the trails in the Cavan block are available for winter use activities.
Only qualified contractors that meet the County-s requirements will be able to bid on this opportunity. Contractors/Vendors that have been suspended or who are in legal dispute with the County will be disqualified and their bid will not be accepted.
