Description:
This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba ("Manitoba"), as represented by the Department of Environment and Climate Change, Parks and Trails Branch ("ECC") to prospective contractors to submit proposals for all work, supply and installation, to repair orreplace six pedestrian trail bridges and one dock in North Whiteshell, South Whiteshell and Spruce Woods Provincial Parks as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the "Work").In consideration of Manitoba's procurement policies and applicable trade agreements, thisSolicitation is limited to Canadian suppliers who have submitted compliant submissions meeting all essential requirements of the solicitation. If no compliant submissions are received from Canadian suppliers, Manitoba may re-issue this tender at its sole discretion.Submissions which propose the useof subcontractors based in the United States will be automatically disqualified.The work is being done in Whiteshell and Spruce Woods Provincial Parks, located in Manitoba along hiking trails where most sites are remote and not directly accessible with an on-road vehicle.
