- This is a one-year, with an option to renew, Terrain Stability Field Assessment contract to assess steep terrain mainly in our eastern operating areas. BC Timber Sales Cariboo-Chilcotin has several blocks and roads throughout the Quesnel, Cascadia and Williams Lake Timber Supply Areas that require a terrain stability field assessment. These assessments are paramount to ensuring operator safety and mitigate any potential environmental hazards from industrial forest activities on these steep slopes. Work in the Williams Lake Timber Supply Area has yet to be determined and may not proceed into the future.
