Description:
PURPOSE:
The City of Moncton is seeking to engage the services of a highly qualified, experienced and knowledgeable firm to complete the supply and installation of a new, modern on-street parking management and enforcement solution for use by the City of Moncton-s By-Law Enforcement Department through a multi-phase project.
The project would involve the removal of the City-s existing on-street parking meters, to be replaced with a new, modern, energy efficient on-street parking solution which provides users with a “real-time inventory” of available parking meter spaces, and is capable accepting multiple forms of payment through a secure mobile online platform, and through designated pay stations, strategically located within close proximity to designated parking areas.
The project would also involve the implementation of a robust parking enforcement and ticketing solution, as well as the implementation of an online parking permitting and management system for various types of parking permits (residential / visitor / monthly / etc.).
The City is also seeking information from Proponents for optional, future enhancements to the parking management and enforcement solution selected by the City, which may involve the removal of existing gated parking areas that would be converted into a “gateless” parking system, and fully integrated as part of the City-s Parking Management and Enforcement solution, OR the replacement of the City-s existing gated parking management sy...
