(MAI) invites offers from qualified Vendors for the Tank #2 Upgrades in Port aux Basques, NL.The project is located at the Marine Atlantic Ferry Terminal at Port aux Basques, Newfoundland and Labrador. The primary work area is within the Fuel Terminal Tank Farm located in a separate secure area north of the main ferry terminal facility.The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Mobilization and demobilization, including all labor and equipment as specified and as required to carry out the work. Supply and install foam chamber on Tank #2. Installation to be in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Replace piping bracket. Corrosion on piping adjacent to foam chamber requires sanding and painting. Corrosion on rooftop piping/venting requires sanding and painting. Course 1 and 2 locations where insulation pins were removed exhibit areas of exposed corrosion and continued environmental degradation. Any bare metal areas shall be cleaned and coated with primer to limit further atmospheric corrosion.
