This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Saskatchewan Power Corporation (“SaskPower”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of the PA6 River Sub Disconnect Project , as further described in the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “ Work”).SaskPower is a Saskatchewan Crown Corporation continued under The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan). It is principally responsible for the generation, transmission and distribution of electricity for most of Saskatchewan.This PA6 72kV Switch Replacement project is intended to replace the existing L2, L3, L5 and L6 switch on the PA6 Price Albert River Street that interconnects North River Sub, PA7-PA6 and River Sub. The scope of Work includes: Installation of 3 new deadend T-tap structures. Installation of 1 new Tangent -tap structure; Installation of 4 new vertical switch structures; Conduct wirework to re-establish lines for PA7-142 and PA6-1, mobile bus, future bus and river sub; Stringing of 477 kcmil AAC Cosmos for the L2, L3, L5 & L6 interconnection; Stringing of 1 - 5/16” grade 180 OHSW for the L2, L3, L5 & L6 interconnection. Connection of switch grounding to existing ground grid.
