- Description:
- The Work of the Contract consists of the supply of all required equipment, labour and materials, except as supplied by TTC, necessary to perform the various tasks involved. This includes planned and emergency repairs, installation, removal and or replacement of 600 volt DC positive and negative traction power cables, and high and low voltage AC power cables, their protection systems, distribution networks, duct banks, aerial supports and bus distribution systems used for all TTC subway and streetcar operations.The term of the Contract is a period of three (3) years from the date of Notification of Award of Contract. It is anticipated that 80% of the Work shall be scheduled replacement work and the remainder shall be Unplanned/Emergency work.
