- VIA Rail wishes to proceed with the installation of a new Rinsing System in our Servicing shop supporting our new fleet of Venture trains. The installation and connections will be required throughout our Servicing shop for each of the three tracks and will include associated train connection ports for the cars on the West side and the locomotives on the East side.A series of ports will be installed to connect portable carts (not included in the contract) that will allow the rinsing of the toilet tanks of the cars via fixed reels mounted between the pit columns.The existing domestic water supply connection points are located under the decks of the East and West tracks in a confined space. The new piping systems will run parallel with each track for the entire length under the pit walkway grating. The design intent is to supply, install and test the new system in accordance with VIA's Techanical Specifications to ensure compliance for the Siemens fleet, including sustained pressure and flow.In order to submit a Tender, the Tenderer must comply with the following mandatory criteria: Tenderer must have attended the Mandatory Site Visit The work must be substantially completed no later than June 30, 2026 Experience General Contractor must have a minimum of 10 years' experience Subcontractors must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in their related expertise of work Tenderer confirms their Tender complies with all requirements, specifications and commits to respect them during t...
