Description:
The Board is seeking the services of a pre-qualified Architectural Firm to provide architectural and consulting services including Design Development, assistance with Contract Documents & Tender development, and Construction & Contract Administration for the renovations as further specified herein.
The Successful Bidder will be required to design and administer the construction of the following scope.
Provide air conditioning to occupied spaces.Relocate boiler room to main floor. New boiler to be Electric.Removal of underground oil fuel tank.Relocate water treatment room to main floor complete with EER.New JACE based building automation control system for HVAC and life safety.Install 48 KW Net Metering DC Solar PV Array to off-set increased electric utility demand.Upgrade primary electrical feed.Provide ventilation to existing electrical room.Replace select light fixtures with new LED lights.Replace existing school lettering with standard UCDSB lettering to support branding strategy.Non-invasive/destructive work may proceed during the school year.
