Description:
Operate a single outdoor cooling station in the City of White Rock for up to 30 people during the approx hours of 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM daily from June 15th to August 31st, 2024 on days when a heat warning is issued by the City of White Rock. Operations to include: daily set up and take down of the cooling station, providing daily cleaning of the station and litter pickup in nearby areas, providing shaded area for seating and an area for misting, providing basic needs support such as snacks, cold non-alcoholic beverages, freezies, cold compresses, first aid, personal hygiene supplies and personal protective equipment, addressing medical needs as appropriate through the provisions of emergency first aid, overdose response, and contacting emergency medical services, arranging for communication of dates and times when the cooling station is open. The operator must obtain personal liability insurance coverage not less than $5,000,000 where the City of White Rock is named as an additional insured there under
