Detailed_Description : The Ministry is seeking information through an RFI for Critical Event Management solution that will be able to disseminate critical information rapidly and reliably to OPP members when a critical situation arises. This RFI will help ministry in gathering information about potential solutions in the market
Scope of Work : The Ministry is seeking to modernize its Provincial Operations Centre (POC) by identifying a potential Critical Event Management Solution. The current reliance on PowerApps and email for POC notifications presents significant risks, particularly during outages of Microsoft M365 services, and limits communication with frontline members. To address these challenges, the Ministry is exploring scalable, secure, and innovative platforms capable of delivering real-time alerts, supporting geo-targeted messaging, and ensuring operational continuity. Information gathered through this RFI will inform the development of specifications for a future open-competitive procurement process.Bidders would be required to respond to the requested information in this RFI.
