Notice is hereby given by the Greater Vancouver Water District ("Metro Vancouver") of its intent to contract with Northwest Hydraulic Consultants (NHC). This contract is to provide operations and maintenance of select hydrometric stations with the Metro Vancouver Water Supply Areas. The stations will be operated until June 30, 2025 at which time they will be reassessed. The Contract will have a value of $536,413 over a three-year period.
The applicable hydrometric stations and locations are:
- Nude Rock - Capilano River below Cleveland Dam
- Cable Pool - Capilano River below Cleveland Dam
- Capilano River at Canyon (08GA031) - Capilano River below Cleveland Dam
- Bear Island - Seymour River below Seymour Falls Dam
- Spur 4 - Seymour River below Seymour Falls Dam
The required tasks and deliverables are:
- Develop a discharge curve for Capilano River at Canyon (08GA031) above 80 CMS
- Provide project management and co-ordinate meetings;
- Conduct a minimum of five discharge surveys per year to ensure site accuracy;
- Maintenance and redevelopment of rating curves as required;
