The Ministry of Transportation Ontario (MTO) is seeking Bids to design, configure, customize, implement, and provide Solution Subscription Support services as a Software as a Service (SaaS) for an Ontario 511 Traveller Information Service (Ontario 511) solution.

Ontario 511 is a public-facing service that publishes data from various Ontario Ministry of Transportation systems and third-party providers.

Ontario 511 serves as the official MTO source for information about highway traffic and weather conditions to help drivers make smarter, safer driving choices. It provides province-wide, near real-time accessible traveller information via a website, a mobile application ("mobile app"), an interactive voice response ("IVR") phone service, and social media, in both English and French.

An effective traveller information service like Ontario 511 can enhance traveller mobility, reduce travel delays, and improve road safety.
