Description : Background and Purpose McMaster University invites qualified bidders to submit responses for the supply of One Card System in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposals. One Card systems are enterprise business systems that provide a coordinated, central approach to manage and support a single system that integrates with other existing service systems across multiple stakeholder areas. This provides the ability for a single card or mobile device to retain credentials, allow access and make payments. An integrated One Card system would also allow access to many of these systems through a ‘virtual- (online/on-device) capability which has the potential to transform how McMaster delivers many of its services to students, staff and faculty while elevating McMaster-s reputation as a technology enabled institution. The One Card project is aligned with the IT Strategic Plan pillars of connected, seamless, and transformative. To reduce the duplication of data, costs and resources across campus while providing an improved student experience through setting up of One Card System, the project will serve to coordinate a central approach to manage and support integration with other existing systems across multiple stakeholder areas.
