Tender are invited for Description of Work:The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) has a mandate to manage the sustainable harvest of all aquatic species. To enable effective management and decision making, it is critical to collect catch and effort data for all fisheries and make that data available for analysis and reporting to a variety of stakeholders.The Kept and Released Estimation Survey Tool (KREST) system has been designated as the regional system in the Pacific Region to manage catch and effort data for the Recreational and Food, Social and Ceremonial (FSC) fisheries. The development of this central data system has provided consolidated data storage and access, consistent and automated tools to support the effective management of harvest data and the production of estimates of total catch and effort in the recreational and FSC fisheries.Application development related services (support) and maintenance services are required for the KREST systems.Support and maintenance services include but are not specifically limited to the following:Software bug fixesSoftware updatesCreation of new software functionalitySoftware configurationSoftware application web server configurationProject management services (assigned task management)Database script creation, modification, and executionLiaison between DFO Systems Support Programmers and Database AdministratorsLiaison between Shared Service Canada Server and Networking support staffBusiness analysis and requirements defin...
