Ojibways of Onigaming FN - Pre-Qualification for Water Treatment Plant Upgrades

Description : Ojibways of Onigaming First Nation (OFN) is proceeding with upgrades to its existing water treatment plant. The community is accessible year-round via Highway 71, approximately 35 km south of Sioux Narrows, Ontario.The general scope of work consists of the following: upgrading the existing slow sand filter under drain system; replacement of slow sand and GAC filter media; inspecting and upgrading the SCADA/PLC system to enable remote monitoring; replacing the raw water intake screen in Crow Lake; replacing various instrumentation; replacing chlorine feed system; addition of a divider wall in the treated water pumping chamber, including access hatch and intercell piping; servicing and repairing the diesel generator; replacing all exterior doors of the water treatment plant and low lift station; and replacing all existing interior and exterior lighting, including emergency lighting.Interested General Contractors who have expertise in water treatment plant upgrades, specifically in First Nation communities, are invited to submit one PDF copy of Pre-Qualification Documents.Sealed submissions will be received until 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on September 5, 2023 at JR Cousin Consultants Ltd., 91A Scurfield Blvd, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
