    Description : Nunatsiavut Government (NG) is currently undertaking Pingutitsinik Nunatsiavut: Create Nunatsiavut Infrastructure Strategy which will guide decision-making and long-term investment to bridge the infrastructure gap in Nunatsiavut. The outcomes of this RFP will be foundational to the strategy development. Economic Development for Inuit construction businesses have been successful at the scale of large projects like Voisey-s Bay and Muskrat falls, with industry actively recruiting, training, and procuring services from Inuit businesses and trades. While major industry and resource development projects have driven the construction sector, the region continues to invest in its own projects and infrastructure with a $61M investment from the federal government to support Reconciliation and bridge the infrastructure gap through the Indigenous Community Infrastructure Fund (ICIF). The intent is to maximize spending within Inuit businesses and economic benefit to Inuit.
