Tender are invited for The Canada Energy Regulator (CER) requires financial professional staff to supplement CER staff involved in various financial projects and process improvement initiatives. The CER envisions a team of Financial Specialists to be available on an “as -and-when-requested” basis through an approved Task AuthorizationThe CER has three small units (Accounting, Financial Management and Financial Reporting) within the Financial Services Team responsible for the CER-s financial management as well as central agency compliance requirements. Each of the three groups are led by a Group Leader. The mixture of personnel on the team includes: clerical/data entry staff, financial analytical staff, and a technical specialist. Non-baseline workload requirements for the Accounting group has been and continues to be at a level where current resources cannot support the workload requirements. The transition to SAP is one project that currently requires additional resources to supplement the existing Accounting group. Other future specific project details/resources are not known at this time.The services required are under Stream 6: Financial Accounting Services for Project Manager/Leader and Senior Auditor.CER is seeking to establish one or two contract(s) under the Professional Audit Support Services (PASS) Supply Arrangement, under Streams 6 Financial and Accounting Services for Project Manager/Leader and Senior Auditor.
