- The Contractor is requested to provide internal audit services to ensure that the CER Chief Financial Officer-s (CFO-s) financial transaction controls, specifically Sections 32, 33 and 34 of the Financial Administration Act, continue to perform as expected.
Based on the Treasury Board of Canada-s Guide to Internal Control Over Financial Management, and as required by the Office of the Comptroller General of Canada (OCG), the CER is required to conduct an independent review of financial controls with compliance to section 32, 33 and 34 of the Financial Administration Act (FAA). There is requirement to assess whether the controls are in place and working effectively to ensure compliance with legislated financial management obligations pursuant to those key controls. - Documents:
