Description:
Take notice that, on February 6, 2025, and accordance with section 36 (1.2) of the Forest Act, Interfor Corporation was offered a replacement for Tree Farm License (TFL) 45.

TFL 45 is comprised of 6 blocks, located west of the City of Campbell River. Four blocks at the north end of Knight Inlet in the North Island Natural Resource District and two blocks in the vicinity of Loughborough Inlet, in Campbell River Natural Resource District in the Province of British Columbia.

The replacement TFL will have a term of 25 years and allows for the harvest of coniferous timber from the area identified on the overview map. The replacement TFL covers the same land-base as the existing TFL and has substantially the same timber rights as the licence it replaces. The Forest Act requires TFLs to be replaced no later than every 10 years.
